what I did to remember is to sleep on the wishful thought, for a week or even longer if no dream happens.
it's like setting an intention and believing that u will gain some insight into your other lives.
the more you desire to see this, the quicker it is revealed some small details in dreamscape.

and then during the day, you write it down what u picked up, and more info starts to bleed thru.
for me, the more bizarre the dream, the more details are there to decipher, as we deal with symbols usually in dream.

We all want you to elaborate dear on the sacred prostitute! It must be a most difficult subject matter, but I think I have a clue.

but you must do your own words, cause I can get the drift, but you can direct my tide...if you know what I mean!
Women have been given a bad rap thru history. Prostitution is the oldest profession of the world. Still yet today in certain poverty countries parents sell off their young female children so they can put food on the table. I did a retrieval of this in the astral. I didn't disturb the children ghosts because they were getting revenge on the pimp who mistreated them and having a merry old time with it!
They didn't want to go with me. End of story. When they're ready, they'll move on in their souls with another retriever.
In a sense, they were "enlightening" that cruel man.
Old souls, all of them surely have had a life as a prostitute, or as well perhaps a gigilo, the male equivalent.
It is said by my sources older souls can have 800 to 1200 separate lives under their belt. Surely, comes a point where we have done it all, so we can graduate at that point with no life being particularly better than another, as all lives have some value in the overview of the higher self.

In essence, prostitution can be like a service, and in some cases, it can cause the prevention of rape, if there is a house of prostitution that a man, of low degree, can go to, to disengage what can be considered pent up frustration that he is not able to control just yet. That makes it a service, and saves some innocent person from being accosted unwillingly; known as a crime and it is a crime. rape is always a crime no matter how many times the courts will say she caused the rape. she did not cause the rape. she got raped because she is physically less muscular developed than the man, and plus rape is a predator circumstance, and Monroe notes, I do too, THIS IS A PREDATOR PLANET!

scuse me, it took me a very long time to understand, it is a predator planet, what with our regular wars, and noticing the food chain action. Sexuality turns into a crime then, and also religion itself has made of the body a symbol of being caste out of the garden of Eden, naked, and without God's assistance.

So in certain cases prostitution can be used to turn evil away so that something good can happen. On occasion a man will fall in love with his regular prostitute, saving her from such a life of service, because she does it to survive, and knows no other way, in some cases.

life is not like it's shown on TV, where everyone sits around the dinner table, with 2.2 children, plenty to eat, a house, a car and people staying married and having values. women can be born into the trade and all lives, of degradation, to us now, can seem quite the norm while living such.
So I understand Lynx, in my way, that the spark of divinity lives in each soul, and can grow brighter in each soul, regardless of what they do for a living.
God does work in mysterious ways throughout. Here's hoping we all get a satisfied mind at the end of this life!

What is the difference between a sacred prostitute and an ordinary prostitute LaughingLynx.
Can you remember what you learnt from
this life.
I think I would find the life of a prostitute very interesting although very hard and must be close to slavery.

yes, I like this topic, past lives. only 4 people are chatting and we managed to stay on topic. which is, for me, an accomplishment as I have a way of getting off topic occasionally.

Thanks Tommy, I was hoping you'd respond again. very interesting. maybe they didn't wear nail polish, but even in the ancient times, women used pomegranete juice for the cheeks, and they could find a way to paint their nails I'm sure; sounds like you met up with a femme fatale type. maybe. don't know.

and looks like you were the loyal type, not tempted, or you were tempted by appetite, but you made the right choice. seems like a test for you. we can be attracted by past lovers and can have more than one single soul mate, for sure, but we don't run into everybody we've known before.

Obe means out of body. It means it's considered a dream by most, but the spirit is cruising. the mind is with others, who are also out of body.
or alone, as in a feeling of traveling away from the physical body. even a strong meditative state one can feel dissociated from the body. the mind perceives the physical body sometimes, laying on the bed, and knows it is not in that body on the bed.
Whenever this occurs, an obe, the shock of viewing your own body sometimes will make you awaken, as it produces a fear thought that you're not supposed to be outside of your body.

but that's only in the beginning stages. you can learn to let yourself walk away into the other room, as an experiment of courage, if ever this should happen to you. then you can learn to fly about town, just checking it out, if you get that far.
In the future, I'm predicting more of us will become aware we can leave our bodies in our spirit form and be completely conscious of it and even control it.

Hey there Lynx, thanks for your thoughts. sounds like you have a good handle on your family dynamics.
I've taken most all of my life to figure out the same. I love getting closures on it, yet it does often take a whole lifetime to get just one closure.
well, Lynx, we are like the same pattern or something.
yes, me mom got me back! that was the lousiest childhood I ever experienced!
I tried to drown myself at age three just to get away from her.
glad I didn't succeed though!
the best part was when she said she was sorry, she didn't know how I was feeling or why she did the things she did; it was all quite unconscious for her but now Nanny told her, that I was suffering badly from lack of love and pining for a mother.

then when I saw what I had done to her was so much worse! it all fell into place.
I had taken her life, right, and in this life, she got cancer.
around age 50. I had no idea she had cancer. she never visited me to tell me. then spirit had me purchase this cancer cure book. It was a huge volume. I brought it home and scratched my head, what in the world did I want this book for?

one night she showed up with my sister in tow, right? this was weird. she never came to visit me before. something was up then. then she told me she had cancer and they were scheduling her for explorative surgery on the morn.
all of a sudden, a huge terror came over me. I knew she would die, if not from complications of explorative surgery, then shortly thereafter.
a premonition. so I blurted out MOM! THEY'RE GOING TO KILL YOU!

oh boy. this is not the way to try to get close to your mom.
lol. my sister jumped in to protest my announcement. then mom quieted her down, and said wait. she may have something there!
Then at once the book I had purchased came to mind and I leapt up to retrieve it, knowing that's why I had bought the book. I gave it to her, she went into the hospital that night and read the thing all night long!
In the morning, she was convinced not to go through with the explorative surgery and against the staff's wishes that woman checked herself out of the hospital! lol! you can't keep her down!

she took the cure the book offered. years later, she was checked for a return of the cancer, which was all over her body btw, and there was no trace of it.
what she died of, was concerned with the heart getting tired.

What I had done, was look into her eyes. I saw she was going to die. what the book did, was give her the extra 30 years of life that I had stolen by taking her life, in the other life time, she would have lived in that life time an extra 30 years.

so I had evened up he score in that way. then when she got to be 83, and came to stay with me a few years, that was when she finally got around to forgiving me fully and just accept her the way she was, and the way I was, with no judgment.

there was even more involved than this, as after she died, she set out to "find me."
it was a retrieval, but where the retrievee finds the retriever instead of vice versa.

Marilyn will love this! I had my own retrieval station out there!
It was like grand central station out there I tell you! lol!
my own mother stayed in my station while I went to get guides to take her on to her next level of activity.
It ended up we realized how much we loved each other and love is the salvation's grace and enlightens us all we need to know.

Hi Marilyn and Laughing Rain
My past life experiences have been through regression, not dreams or memory. I have had about 3 sessions and experienced about 4 or 5 past life memories each time. One I remember was when I was a red-indian and went up the mountain to see if a
group of people were all right, most had drowned in flash floods and I was crying, then my arm was broken, the pain was excruciating and still felt sore for 24 hours after.
There was another when I was in a baker's shop and my love one was dragged out and taken away. I saw myself getting older and sadder, so sad I felt.
This life I have held onto my wife regardless. I even remember desperately asking (begging)for help when I knew there was another woman I was attracted to. She was hanging around so I knew it wasn't just someone I had seen walk by.She was very attractive.I badly wanted her physically yet on another level I knew inside myself I would loose the one I had. This was long before any past life experience.
There was another interesting one, a little different from the rest
It was olden times 2 or 3 hundred years ago when buildings were
wood with hugh beams. I went to this girl or woman for dancing lessons, she kept flashing her fingers and finger nails at me. The nails were painted red. I couldn't understand why they were painted because another part of me knew that people didn't wear nail varnish in these days. I have never come to any conclusion
about this, or what it meant.
What is obe Laughing Rain that you talk about. I haven't come across this word before.

Well, mom and I were good witches but my sister was sort of the evil witch. In spite of my mother's devotion to my sister, she ultimately trusts me more to look out for her best interests. The favorite thing is from this life I think because she was first born and cute as hell when she was a kid.

My mother and I have more than that life together, I'm positive of it. I'm equally positive I have tortured her and that is why I wanted her as my mother. It's nasty, I know that. But, she had the chance to level the playing field. And she did.

P.S. It's nice to know there is a place to get this stuff down and I'm assuming most of the people reading this are not thinking we are nuts. Not that it makes a difference. There is more feedback.

Thanks again putting up the Walsch parable Marilyn. Everytime I read it I get more out of it.
Pieces of my brain puzzle just fall into place calmly when I read it and I breath a sigh of relief.
It's kind of like, this other poetry where this soul is asking why weren't you with me through my darkest night of the soul god?
and God said, you didn't see my footsteps in the sand, you saw only one set of footsteps, because I was carrying you in my arms.

that's what my life has been, carried in god's arms through each test and struggle. and if it is so for me, I can see it is so for all my brothers and sisters, known or unknown.

especially i thought, how true this parable is, as I can almost see my own mother and I, before she was mother, before I was daughter, I can almost see us calmly discussing the plot, the plan, agreeing to everything that would come about.
and I can hear her on the telephone, in this life, after 20 years of silence, I can hear mom's voice say, I was talking to Nanny, (her own mother, and guide on the other side) and Nanny told me I had to come see you. I asked why, as did not seem to be a reason to come, as our relationship seemed fine. then nanny said, no, it's not at all fine.
then when she called me, to come stay with me for 3 yrs, life circumstances meant she had to move, she didn't know I had been waiting all my life for this moment.

and our own story of forgiveness was culminated and had closure during the 3 yr period.
I don't think we will plan another life together. It feels like divine closure occurred. the freedom feeling was tremendously gratifying! and continues.

cool Lynx! wow. your intentions are going to come true, I feel. my family ties are coming up for me in this thread too. btw, I've met another author who remembers being burned at the stake as a witch. some of these people, if not all, simply made the mistake of talking about dreams they had of the future. they were labeled witches, especially if they said they could do an out of body thing.
I guess that makes me a modern day witch. I feel you and your mother will find release at some point, what the hate is about, love and hate are closely related emotions.
I'm glad we became friends Lynx. it would be great to meet you in person some day. love...

I've been told my mother, sister and I were witches in a past life. Just one life with them. I have felt for decades now that I chose my parents to complement, complete, heal, teach. I know I was related to my father also. Friends, brothers. He rescued me this time around from my mother. I haven't completely opened the doors to what I did to my mother that made her hate and try to kill me this time. I do accept that I created this. I ask for forgiveness. I also find it helpful to state that I'm not sure what I did but I intend to release the energy around it in all points in time and space and to allow healing and love and light to replace it.
