went to gather FAQ's from the website:

Q. How does FLEA FREE work?
A. When FLEA FREE is added to your pet’s food or drinking water, it goes to work internally producing an enzyme which shields the protein that the female needs to lay her eggs. If she can't find what she needs, she jumps off, without biting, in search of another host to feed on. If she doesn't draw blood within 20 to 22 hours she will die thus interrupting the productive cycle.

Q. Does Flea Free really work?
A. We do not claim that Flea Free works on all animals just as medications do not work on all individuals, however we found that 99.3% of animals tested had favorable results. This is why we are confident in offering a 100% money back guarantee. Either Flea Free works or it's free.

Q. Is Flea Free safe?
A. Yes! FLEA FREE products are all natural. They do not contain any poisons, chemicals, preservatives, artificial colorings, or flavorings. Flea Free products do contain garlic, vinegar, citrus, & beneficial herbs, all essential for the health of your pet.

Q. I have heard that garlic is not safe to give to pets. Is this true or is it a myth?
A. The ingredient in garlic that can be harmful is the allicin. Too much of it can lead to a type of anemia. The garlic used in the Flea Free products is air-dried garlic, which contains the least amount of allicin. Raw garlic has a high amount of allicin, so is raw garlic that can cause problems if used in excess.
The garlic in Flea Free has been highly recommended by the American Feed Control Officials, Inc (AFCO) and has been given a GRAS (generally recognized as safe) listing. It contains only 397 ug/gram post allicin compounds compared to 3,192 ug/grams in raw garlic, and the allicin content is even higher in freeze dried garlic. According to the National Institute of Cancer, these post-allicin compounds are actually the most beneficial and desirable. They produce strong garlic odor in Air Dried Garlic which is responsible for its repellent properties.

The small amount of Flea Free used in the drinking water or food is so slight that there is no cause for any concern.

Garlic has been used for centuries as an insect repellent and has been known for its healing properties. You may use this product with total confidence. It is absolutely safe and is highly recommended. In fact, many breeders use Flea Free on their nursing mothers food or in the water, and there is no harm for the new puppies.

Q. Can you use FLEA FREE with other vitamins, supplements and medications?
A. Absolutely! Flea Free can only enhance your pets health.

Q. How long does Flea Free take to start working?
A. That depends on your pet’s weight, metabolism, amount of infestation, & overall health of the animal. The average is six to ten days, but it has taken as little as three days & as long as three weeks. Pure white animals take longer than dark ones.

Q: Can I give Flea Free to my puppies and kittens?
A: Yes, in fact you can give Flea Free to young animals as soon as they can drink on their own.

Q: Can I give it to nursing dogs and cats?
A: Yes, it has been found that the nursing mothers relay the effects of Flea Free to the feeding young. They, in turn, are protected from fleas and other parasites.

Q: Is Flea Free harmful to my older pet?
A: No, Flea Free is 100% natural. It is a known fact that vinegar helps to prevent aging and breakdown of joints, bones, and cartilage in the body. It also helps to boost the immune system.

Q: What if my pet wont drink it?
A: Keep in mind it is a food supplement and animals, especially cats, consider this a change to what they normally eat or drink. You should introduce it into their diet a little at a time until they become
accustom to it. If that doesn't seem to work you may introduce it to them in their food.

Q: Can I put it in their food?
A: Yes, in fact some dogs actually like the steak marinade flavor. Just once a day is all it takes. If they are finicky start off by putting a little bit on a snack they really like and eventually work up to the full recommended allowance.

Q: How long does it take to work?
A: It can take as little as two days or as long as three weeks before you notice your pets stop itching. Your pets metabolism and size plays a big part in the process.

Q: Does Flea Free kill the fleas and ticks?
A: No, Flea Free is not a pesticide, a chemical, or a poison. The fleas and ticks actually can't find the protein, they need to survive, in your pets blood because it is blocked by an enzyme produced by
Flea Free. The flea and other blood sucking parasites leave the host to find a meal and typically starve to death.

Q: Are fleas and ticks the only insects your products protect
against?
A: No, although fleas and ticks are the most troubling to dogs and cats it is also effective against, mosquitoes, some types of biting flies, and in some cases it has been shown effective against
intestinal worms.

Q. What are the ingredients in FLEA FREE?
A. Flea Free contains:
1. Garlic (Natures Antibiotic!)
Garlic has over 200 vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and enzymes. It makes
Flea Free nutritious, repels fleas, most all ticks, mosquitoes, lice, mites, & biting
flies. It helps in maintaining a healthier heart, and it is good for the skin & coat and
helps to break down toxins in the blood to cleanse the liver.
2. Vinegar
Vinegar has over 90 nutrients. It is packed with essential amino acids, vitamins,
minerals, and enzymes. Vinegar helps calm nausea, aids digestion, kills infections,
helps relieve sore muscles and arthritis pain and improves overall health.

Q. How much do I give my dog? Should I give my cat less since she weighs less?
A. On the bottle there will be instructions on how much Flea Free to add. The recommended amount is one teaspoon added to food or one tablespoon added to one quart of water. This is based on a medium sized dog weighing around 35 lbs.

If you're giving Flea Free Food Supplement to a cat, the amount that is put on the food can be cut in half. In other words, you can add 1/2 teaspoon to the food. If you're giving the Supplement to a tiny kitten, you would only need to give 1/4 teaspoon.

If you're giving the Supplement to a larger sized dog, you would increase the amount given in the food. For instance, add 2 teaspoons to the food of a dog weighing around 70 lbs., and add 3 teaspoons to a dog weighing around 100 lbs.

Q. What is Flea Free's shelf life?
A. As far as we know, the longest amount of time a case of Flea Free sat in a garage, through seasonal temperature changes was three years, & it was still as effective as a newly processed batch.

Q. Is the Insect Spray all natural, and how long will it work?
A. The Insect Spray contains all natural scents that insects hate (oils of sesame, neem, citronella, melaleuca, cedar, eucalyptus, aloe vera, lemongrass and rosemary. There are no poisons or chemical and no deet.

Even when pets are free of fleas or have been treated, it's a good idea to use an insect spray when walking through a wooded or untreated infested area. If you're spending time around areas where insects breed, around the water, in swampy, wooded or rocky terrain, it is wise to spray your pet and yourself to ward off unwanted bites from insects.

One spray will last two to three hours and can be used as often as needed for protection.

wow, the male flea does not bite? interesting. the human species male does bite!! (joke)
so I wonder if the female dies after 20 hrs with no blood to take, then I wonder if the male flea dies too after awhile? it just say the male flea leaves the premises.

I assume, no wait. what does a male flea subsist on, if he doesn't bite? maybe he just has a naturally short life time, especially if the female bites the dust.

here's the website http://www.healthyfoodforpets.com/FleaFree.html

Just bought all natural flea control stuff: reading from the bottle:
How it works: Garlic is a detoxifier which goes to work internally in the blood. as it passes through the system, cleansing impurities in the blood it emits an enzyme. (enzymes digest things I hear) the enzyme thus emitted shields the protein the female flea needs in order to lay eggs. The vinegar and other herbs in this product (liquid) prevents the enzme from entering the digestive tract, thus it goes straight into the blood stream where fleas, ticks, mosquitoes and biting insects feed. contains sterile water, vinegar, garlic, citrus and herbs.

I mix a tbsp to a quart of water for their drinking water.
a teaspoon can be added to their food also.
there is no risk of over dosage as it's compatible with humans and animals organisms.

Why are chemicals so harmful?

Chemicals act as poisons and can lead to allergies and many other chronic and potentially
deadly health problems. With all the chemicals our pets have to deal with now-a-days, it's
no wonder that cancer and numerous other diseases are increasing at an alarming rate in the US.
Unfortunately, harmful chemicals are found in most commercial flea and tick products.
And this is why holistic veterinarians and other pet professionals suggest using an all natural
flea prevention product.

Flea Free Garlic Flea Prevention is safe for all animals, including horses, cats, dogs, birds
and other small pets. It's the natural way to eliminate fleas and ticks, and all blood-feeding insects
(including mosquitoes, biting flies, mites & lice) that carry germs and parasites -
without poisoning your pets and your environment!
"I had almost given up hope of ever finding something to get rid of fleas. FLEA FREE is wonderful, it really works. I'll be passing the word." E. Wilson - Texas

How does Flea Free work?

When used daily, Flea Free prohibits blood-feeding insects from biting and prevents them from laying eggs,
thus breaking the reproductive cycle of the female insect. This is how it works. When Flea Free enters your pet's system, it produces an enzyme which shields the protein the female insect needs to lay eggs. Not able
to find what she is looking for, she exits your pet in search of another host to feed on. If she does not draw blood every 20 to 22 hours, she will die. The male flea doesn't bite, and having nothing to fertilize leaves
your pet as well. This breaks the reproductive cycle.
