Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder

As we move into 2010, 2011, and so forth for the next 50 years or so, be aware that you and I are creating the golden age that all new agers like to talk about.
It's not this group, or that person, or that leader over there, it's you and I, the common person in the street who hold a beautiful vision, that brings in the new age of enlightenment.

Why is that one person can find beauty in the ghetto, such as a flower struggling up amid the concrete, reaching for the sun? While another person hurries through the ghetto, afraid of who might be in the alley to wrest from them their wallet, and even their very life?
It boils down to either living in fear perpetually, or having the courage to walk through the ghetto in order to find the beauty and appreciate it, or perhaps in spite of the fear, we learn we can be courageous after all, we can be examples for others. In some cases, you are the one others will look to if times get any worse than what they are. Be of courage then, for you will be needed to fill your role.

Only through appreciation, a type of unconditional love, can we understand truly, that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, not on the outside of the observer, but in the heart of the choice maker to see, understand and hold to what is beautiful, what is right, what is loving.

Not only is beauty awaiting the chance to be revealed to you, but curiously, you make it happen that way by your desire, and your courage, to be a part of the golden age, and your refusal to give into the sight of ugliness rearing it's head.

For you see, ugliness is also in the eye of the beholder, if beauty is in the eye of the beholder, this holds true for ugliness too.

We are the creators. We have made our choices long long ago to come here, and be a part of everything we see around here. We also knew how it would turn out. And it looks very very good!
Try to remember, we know already what we're doing here, otherwise we didn't have to come. We knew it would be exciting too, to view everyone starting to wake up to what could be, to find out just how creative we can be by holding to our visions of health and happiness, and if you have those items, well, beauty in your eye is a natural outcome.

We create that. We accept our perfected mastery of our own inner world, and extend this belief to all others, helping them believe in their highest truth, that we are all worthy of health and happiness and all possess the tools of the mind to achieve their vision.
This day, look around you and find one beautiful thing. It can be the smallest item ever; it can be organic or inorganic, large or small, but look for the beauty, and when you find that, you will feel love.
Nurture that love, and you nurture peace of mind, nurture peace of mind, and you are then the light of the world.
You will then stand beside the Christ and God will take the final step for you.

Record every memory; this life will never repeat. This is as good as it gets.
Give thanks for you are here, and every life is a huge event in the heart of God, even yours, even mine. For we can never, ever, be apart from what loves us with a passion so sublime and perfect, that we are now in a time of graceful emergence back to the heart of God, our creator who teaches us now how to create what we desire.

I truly feel that you are correct, that we are in a time of emergence of the Golden Age. We signed on for this journey a long time ago, and this happened before we got to the Earth Plane. We were in a place of allow-ability for clearer thinking., in the in-between world of the spirit. As we looked into this plane of existences future, as saw what our assignment was, we were excited and able to see what it was that excited us. Our vision is cloudy right now, so in that vision, we must trust and have perfect faith in our destiny. I must remember that, so must us all. Thank for reminding me Rev.

yes faith is just about everything that's anything Akasha. I think I always had a little faith, then after reading ACIM faith increased to being doubtless about the future. there may be upheavals in the future, but now I feel I can get through them just fine, and if I can, so can everyone else.
I will try to extend the energy you have given me to another who may need it, and in this way, we create a better world with more faith in it.

Hi there Ryan, I really believe you're on the right track to make that conscious effort to notice beauty in the world. It's easier not to see it, so by reminding yourself to look around and be more aware, I have done this exercise and it surely helps as it does increase your perceptions of beauty, which is akin to something we call Pul.
there's this song called Itty Bitty I sometimes sing. the lyrics: It's all right to be itty bitty, itty bitty house in a big 'ol city. might as well share, might as well smile, life goes on for an itty bitty while.
it's true, although it's hard to see, every little bit helps to make another feel a little bit better; especially when entertaining, right? but I mean that it doesn't matter what profession we're in, it the effort that counts and the intention. love, LR
